The office of the All Peoples Congress (APC) party in Taiama, Moyamba District, is reportedly set on fire by supporters of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP).
The office was reportedly set on fire around midnight on Saturday.
Despite the pronouncement by the president that people must stop all forms of intimidation, some supporters of the SLPP in Kenema and in the South continue to unleash violence.
President Bio said over the weekend that supporters who break the law must be held accountable.
“The SLPP leadership must be held accountable for the actions of the supporters. The supporters are implementating what the party had planned in the advent they lose the elections,” said Augustine Sesay, a supporter of the APC.
While properties of APC supporters are being targetted for attacks, most public officials are fearing for their jobs.
It is yet unclear what measures the SLPP will take against supporters committing the violence in Kenema, but some members of the SLPP said the president is angry.
