‘Indie Book Show Africa’ brings Africa to you

maxresdefaultThe sweet sounds of the talking drums, songs and poetry, made unique by thousands of cultures and traditions in Africa, now have the Indie Book Show Africa, to breathe again.

The uniqueness of Africa through the richness of diversity, cultural heritage, breathtaking tourist attractions, and intricate traditional systems, is being showcased by writers, poets and musicians who share with the world the songs and stories of the continent.

This House is an African House by Kadija Sesay| Poetry Reading

Like many others, the poem by Kadija Sesay, ‘This House is an African House’, takes you through the labyrinths of  Africa, the tears, the laughter and love. and guide you through the dreams and aspirations of the people.

In these poems and stories, the spirits of the ancestors and the gods speak, the ‘spoken word’.
