Gambia President visits Sierra Leone

President of The Gambia, Adama Barrow, is in Sierra Leone to thank his Sierra Leonean counterpart, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, for his tremendous contributions in resolving the political impasse in The Gambia.

The Hon. Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Ambassador, Dr. Victor Bockarie Foh, on Wednesday, 26th April,2017 received His Excellency, President Adama Barrow of the Gambia at the Lungi International Airport, Port Loko District, North of Sierra Leone.
The visit of His Excellency, President Barrow to Sierra Leone is part of his West Africa tour to countries that assisted in negotiating a peaceful exit of the Former President, Yayah Jammeh.
During his two days stay in the country, President Barrow will meet with His Excellency, President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, visit the Gambia Embassy, Sierra Akkar and the Gambia Embassy Land site.
The Gambia President will be leaving the country on the 27th April 2017 for other West Africa states.
The Hon. Vice President, Dr. Foh was accompanied by other State Ministers including the  Minister of Information and Communications, Mohamed Bangura, Minister of State, Foreign Affairs, Gibril Sesay, Minister of Tourism, Sidi Yayah Tunis, Minister of State, North, Alie Kamara and Deputy Minister of Lands, Mahmoud Tarawallie; some Paramount Chiefs in the North and other state stakeholders to welcome His Excellency, President Adama Barrow.
